Leonard Kassis, MD

Leonard Kassis, MD, is an experienced internal medicine physician with the team at Medical Access, located in Germantown, Maryland. Dr. Kassis is experienced in internal medicine, occupational health, and urgent care.

Originally from Montgomery County, Dr. Kassis is a native Marylander and has lived there his entire life. He received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and pre-medical studies from the University of Maryland at College Park. He was accepted to the Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He then completed his residency program at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Since 1999, Dr. Kassis has been a practicing physician and served the communities of those in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. In addition to these qualifications, he is also a civil surgeon for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Dr. Kassis is known for his bubbly personality and is loved by all his patients. In addition to speaking English, he also speaks fluent Arabic.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kassis has many personal interests. He enjoys listening to music, playing sports, traveling, and collecting coins and currencies.
